The Trailwood build perfectly showcases our range of design aesthetics with a sophisticated, contemporary outdoor living space. Ledgerock steps surrounded by elegantly landscaped garden beds and retaining walls, lead you down to the backyard oasis. A custom gunite pool and spa is at the center of the design with three gorgeous fire and water bowls sitting atop brick pedestals recirculating a cascade of water into the pool. At night the dramatic effect of the fiery pedestals creates a mood unlike any other. The pool has a built-in tanning shelf with bubblers, creating the ideal place to sunbathe. The square spa is elevated and features a 360-degree spillover. Surrounded by hedges of boxwood, emerald green arborvitae, and a wrought iron-inspired fence, the space is private and beautiful from all angles.
The custom patio surrounding the inground pool and spa is divided into four primary sections. Surrounding three sides of the pool is a traditional patio laid with Techo Bloc Aberdeen pavers in a traditional stacked bond pattern. To one side of the pool is a lounge area with a built-in gas-fueled fire pit. Just behind the fire pit lounge sits an outdoor dining area. The patio transitions to a herringbone pattern laid in Techo Bloc Para pavers to designate the dining area. On the far side of the pool, four lounge chairs rest atop paver inlays, laid with the same Techo Bloc Aberdeen. The grass block pavers offer a softer transition from patio to lawn, blending the landscape and hardscape together. Astroturf runs between the slabs for a maintenance-free alternative to grass.
Attached to the house is a two-story terrace with a covered outdoor kitchen below. The outdoor kitchen features a built-in grill, two-tier granite bar, built-in storage, and refrigeration. Above, overhead heaters keep the space cozy year-round.
Last but certainly not least, a private 5-hole putting green extends from the outdoor dining area to the far end of the property. A combination of boxwood and arborvitae landscaping returns to provide privacy and block the air conditioner and utility boxes from view. As with all our builds, thoughtfully placed landscape lighting completes the space, illuminating the gorgeous yard for use day and night.
